good price!

hey guys,

I took a ride today looking for a center console for my 90 honda civic h/b, from a crx. And i came across a import junkyard, they sell zc engines. They offered me a deal, the engine and transmission if i want all the parts needed and a new clutch. He said he would put it in and all the parts for about 1200$. I think i can get it lower but is that worth my while.

Just to put in into perspective, I got my ZC motor, ZC trans, chikara header, MSD wires, and painted valve cover, for $900. So yeah, you could probably do a little better, but if you feel confident with this place, and feel like you can trust em, id say go with it.

ya that sounds about right to me. I would feel kinda weird about letting my car go into the hands of the junkyard. But ya know um or whatever i'd go for it.

man i need to start doing engine swaps for people. i didnt know there where that many people paying others to do swaps. zc swap is $600 for everything i need and $200 to put it in. just do the swap your self get to know your car, you will love it.

If your car is a DX, then that sounds like a fair price.If you have a SI then you don't need the tranny and the wiring swap is easy so the price should be alot lower. Where are they getting the motors from? Do they come with a warranty? Remember ZC motors didn't come in any US cars so they have to be imported. Make sure your getting a "black top" ZC.
